It's 5 months down the line after the election, but we haven't seen or hard a clear program from the political leadership to address the many problems affecting our county.On Friday a pregnant lady who came to deliver at Mwatate sub district hospital was literally chased away by the concerned parties at the hospital .
The same night after she went home, her child died during delivery.For the last 6 months we Mwatate residents have been living without water.So we are forced to buy one 20 liter jerrican @Ksh 50 .Despite having a tap at my home wusi,my mum and elderly grannies are forced to walk on the hills for 1 hour to fetch water.
Mshokoronyi Murray Girls saghaighu road has been in a very bad condition for many years now.
Yesterday ,a man from Mwashuma was severely injured by maraudingelephants moving from village to village destroying and killing .Our youth who off cause have been denied jobs at the county government are living in very desperate and hopeless life, even though some have very impressive academic credentials.Few people are ripping from our God given wildlife,tourism and minerals yet we are wallowing in poverty.
Our environment is degrading day by day and our people are living painfully in hunger.Not forgetting unacceptable hire fare rates.eg from voi to Maktau it's Ksh 500 to 700.
WHAT ARE THE MITIGATIVE MEASURES THAT THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT DOING TO DEAL WITH THESE EMERGENCIES.
WHAT ARE THE MIDTERM AND LONGTERM PLANS.WHERE IS POLITICAL LEADERSHIP OF TAITA TAVETA COUNTY?
WHAT ARE MPS DOING WITH HUNDREDS OF MILLION OF SHILLINGS FROM CDF KITTY?
