This leaflet has caused high tension among Christians in
Taita-Taveta County. The leaflets are allegedly written by a group of devil
worshippers who claims that Christians are overtaking the region spiritually.
The leaflets titled “kwa idara ya giza Taita
Taveta County,” was informing their followers to attend an urgent meeting to be
held at Mwambirwa Forest in Voi District.
The agenda of the meeting is to strengthen their powers.
It also reminded its’ followers to carry sand from churches, schools and a
bottle of blood when attending the meeting.
Spiritual Leaders from all over the County are now urging
residents to PRAY hard so that they destroy the plans by these “idara ya giza.”
According to the leaflets, members of idara ya giza were
also asked to cause confusion among Christians by making them lazy while
praying and ensure youth get into prostitution.
